The quiet village of Le Thoronet is located in Provence and is surrounded by green hills and vineyards. The village has a small supermarket, a few bars/restaurants, a wine cooperative and a bakery.
In Lorgues, just a few kilometres from Le Thoronet, you will find several bakers, butchers, larger supermarkets, banks, a post office, doctors and a pharmacy.
Just outside Le Thoronet is the Abbey of Le Thoronet (l' Abbaye Cistercienne du Thoronet), which dates from the 12th century and is definitely worth a visit.
